This kit provides all the components required to set and hold the camshafts, crankshaft and chain tensioner components when performing major engine work or replacing the cam chain and associated components.

The 829083 kit was developed for the Chrysler DOHC common rail diesel engine found in the Voyager, Grand Voyager and the LDV Maxus van. The 829083 kit allows the user to replace the timing belt whilst maintaining the correct timed position of the camshafts and crankshaft.

The 829084 kit has been developed specifically for the 2008 and later 2.8 CRD Chrysler/Jeep engines where the cam belt drives one camshaft and the second camshaft is driven via gears. The 829084 kit is a 2 piece kit consisting of the components required to lock the crankshaft and camshafts in their timed position to allow the removal and replacement of the cam belt and associated components.
